The Church of the
East, Diocese of India celebrates “Sunday School Day” on a yearly basis, by
participating in a precession.
On Sunday 2nd
December 2007 our Sunday school commenced their procession from Mar Yohannan
Mamdhana (John the Baptised) church in East Frot to Marth Mariya (St. Mary’s)
Church in Thrissur.
The procession
commenced at 4.00pm with parishioners carrying their banner and the Sunday
School students dressed according to biblical stories.
Students and members
were all received at the metropolitans palace by our beloved Archbishop Mat Aprim who
presented sweets to every one.
A crow in excess of 4000
people heard the Archbishop’s message followed by the prsentation of prizes.
